Key Verses 19-20

19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

    1. What significance does this statement play in the commission found in v.19-20?

    1. How does the commission to make disciples of ‘all nations’ seem to change the previous standard where God said only the Israelites were His chosen people? (Deut 7:6)

  5. What do you think it means to baptize disciples in the Name of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit?

    1. What do you think is the significance of baptizing disciples in the Name of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit and not just baptizing disciples into One of them?

  6. What should disciples teach new disciples?

  7. Why do you think Jesus’ last words to His disciples in the book of Matthew were:
“And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”?
