What
is a Bible Conference?
A Bible Conference is an
opportunity for students who are interested in the Bible to gather together
for a weekend of fun, powerful, and blessed activities which are designed
to introduce them to our Risen Lord Jesus Christ.
Where
will we meet?
This summer, the Bible Conference will be held at the Oak Glen Christian Conference Center. It is at the 5200 foot level, just above Yucaipa, California, and is surrounded by beautiful pine, cedar, and oak trees. Summer days are warm with cool nights. It's a great place to enjoy tranquility surrounded by God's perfect creation.
What
will we do?
This Bible Conference will
be filled with a variety of activities such as:
- Messages:
throughout the Conference, we will enjoy a spiritual feast from the Word
of God in the form of powerful messages delivered by a handful of students.

Group Bible Study: each attendant
will be assigned to a group Bible study which will meet several of times
for Bible study and testimony sharing before the main messages.
- Music:
the Downey UBF orchestra and choir members as well as a handful of talented
individuals will present beautiful performances at various times throughout the Conference.

Drama: the drama team works very
hard through much prayer and many long rehearsals to present a powerful one-act drama.
Many students report the drama as their favorite part of the Conference.
- The Holy Nation Team:
this summer a newly formed team of girls will present a sign language dance. The routine is designed to glorify God using "body worship." It will be an invitation to everyone else to render glory to God for all the love He has shown each of us.

Testimonies: there is always a
chance for newcomers to share their life testimonies and/or Bible study
testimonies at the Conference (i.e. what they have learned, including personal,
practical application). This is a great time to learn from one another
and to give thanks and honor to God for the work He is doing in other students'
lives.

Who should
come?
Any person interested in
meeting Jesus or learning more about the Bible and fellowshipping with
other Christian college students should attend this Bible Conference!
Cost:
The fee for first time
students is $60 and includes all lodging and food expenses.
Directions:
To get to the Oak Glen Christian Conference Center, take either the 91 Freeway East or Interstate 10 East to the 215 North. From the interchange of I-215 (Riverside Freeway) and I-10 (San Bernardino Freeway) near Redlands: Proceed east on I-10 to the Yucaipa off ramp.Go east on Yucaipa Boulevard to Oak Glen Road. Turn left on Oak Glen Road to the stop light at Bryant Road. Continue on Oak Glen Road six (6) miles to the entrance on the left-hand side. Oak Glen Christian Conference Center is one mile beyond Oak Tree Village and immediately beyond the Ranger Station.
